Hotel Revenue Manager POSITION DESCRIPTION:
POSITION SUMMARY: This role requires spending a lot of time analysing trends in the hotel industry. In short, it demands tracking the bedroom and conference space rates offered by competitors, and making sure you sell your own rooms at the right price and the right time to the right people. You’ll also need to maintain parity with room rates offered by online booking companies and be poised to spot peaks and troughs in the market.

Key responsibilities:
- Analysing booking patterns and market trends
-Monitoring competitor performance
-Initiating promotions to generate business at key times
- Forecasting revenue performance
- Oversee revenue management and distribution strategy of the hotel and manage day to day yield operations.
- Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
-Perform competitive benchmark studies and follow market trends.
-Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide summary report with recommendations to improve long term strategies.
-Ensure hotel personnel is fully competent in the use of all systems
- Work in liaison with hotel sales and reservations departments as a team.
-Conduct quarterly property performance review and develop strategic and tactical action
-Inspire Hotel’s HODs to further embed a revenue management culture.
-Advice and coach the client in other operational areas.
-Liaising with the sales teams, reception and the general manager

Qualifications & Skills Needed
-A minimum of 5 years experience in hospitality Industry on Hotel Revenue Management experience.
-A strong command of both written and spoken English is required; additional languages an asset.
-Bachelors or Masters Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or Economic Studies.
-Highly computer literate with a high level command of Excel.

THE ROLE:
The Camp Service Coordinator will be reporting to Administration Superintendent, ensuring the provision of optimum services relative to camp facilities including accommodation allocation and maintenance, travel, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry services, social and recreational facilities, parks and gardens and continuously review current arrangements and recommend and implement improvements to optimize employee satisfaction and enhance cost effectiveness •

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provision of camp services i.e. Accommodation, Travel, Catering, Laundry, Housekeeping and General Camp
Cleanliness including maintenance of camp Infrastructures for two camps Main Camp and Twiga to ensure that
SBM receives maximum benefit for the service.
To develop management system for continually review the performance of the Team to ensure that the services
rendered are being provided in a satisfactory manner and where non-compliance is identified, appropriate action to address and remedy the situation is implemented.
Ensure the compliance with Stamigold Operating Standards and all statutory legal requirements in terms of Health, Safety and Environment. .
Research and develop recommendations to management on improvements to current facilities on site that will improve employee satisfaction and optimize SBM productivity; and implement any approved outcomes.
Training of less experienced staffs in the Camp Services unit in housekeeping, food and Travel services to meet the SBM, National and International Standards.
Coordinate national and international Road and Air Travel Services for Stamigold and contractor's staffs.
Liaising with Site Services unit on maintenance schedules for Site Services Camp Infrastructures and Mining Workshop for Light vehicles.
Control Company Light vehicles Documents and ensure proper records of Insurance, Motor Vehicle &
Registration Cards
Any other duties in line with this position title as it may be advised by the Supervisor.

The Role
The Site Service Section Head will be reporting to Administration Superintendent and will provide leadership and technical support to the Site Maintenance Team (Electricians, AC and Refrigeration Technicians, Masons, Carpenters,
Plumbers and Boilermakers) to ensure proper service and quality maintenance is achieved in' the cost effective manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement maintenance and construction strategies, budgets and plans to ensure site services are efficiently provided at optimum cost.
Develop, implement and monitor systems to collect all Site Service Maintenance and Projects costs to ensure early detection of unfavorable variances.
Implement employee performance management processes to ensure optimum employee performance and take appropriate action to remedy any substandard employee's performance or behaviour.
Provide leadership, training and support to ensure that employees and contractors comply with safety standards that exceed industry practice and any applicable legislative requirements.
Continually review every aspect of maintenance and project activities to ensure that opportunities to add value and enhance company's wealth are identified and implemented.
Interact and participate with the Mining Contractor, which Is responsible for conduct of mining activities and other departments to ensure sustained development of a Safe and Healthy Work Environment on the Mine Site and within the Communities of contact.
Any other duty in line with this position title as it may be advised by the Supervisor.

CORE COMPETENCE
A good knowledge of mining safety regulations and best practices is essential.
People who have open, energetic and socially skilled personalities will do particularly well.
A working knowledge of appropriate software programs that will facilitate the reporting and control aspects of the project. These include Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Access or other database software.
Strong and proven management ability with leadership qualities are essential.
High level of interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
Must be a team player, Flexible, Attentive to details and results oriented
Able to complete tasks in a timely manner at international standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree/Diploma in an appropriate engineering discipline
A minimum of 4-6 years' professional experience in related industry of which at least 3 years were spent in a leadership role
Project management and successful completion of a number of major projects is essential
Experience in the mining industry is desirable
